PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) has praised the Perlis royalty for prioritising prosperity, racial harmony and unity in the state.

The MCA president was at a Chinese New Year event in Kangar Wednesday (Feb 5) night which was graced by Raja Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and his consort Raja Perempuan of Perlis Tuanku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid, Raja Muda Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail and his consort Raja Puan Muda Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azlan Man and several other state leaders.

“The people in Perlis, particularly the Chinese, are able to feel the love under the umbrella of the Raja Perlis and the state royalty.

“The Raja Perlis and the Perlis royalty are committed to the people and they always prioritise harmony, unity and prosperity in this lucky state,” said Dr Wee posted on Facebook Wednesday (Feb 6).

He added this was his second time attending a dinner event with the Perlis royalty in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
