Message from the Chief Executive Officer

الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه وواله. أما بعد:

In line with the global wave of digitalisation, the Perlis Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs (MAIPs) strives to stay relevant as an organisation in delivering services to the Muslim community in Perlis. MAIPs believes that technological advancement must be fully leveraged to ensure its services are accessible anytime and anywhere. Therefore, various measures have been undertaken to expand our access to services beyond the limitations of time and location.

As part of this commitment, we have launched the MAIPs Digitalisation Plan, anchored on the Amil Development Initiative under the MAIPs 2.0 Holistic Distribution Action Plan. This plan has been carefully designed to enhance the quality of services and the effectiveness of zakat distribution, as well as to strengthen waqf and general resource management for the benefit of those in need.

In addition, the latest MAIPs Official Website is equipped with various modern features. These include mobile and responsive access, enabling users to obtain information and services through multiple devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. It also offers convenient online services such as zakat, waqf, and general fund payments, aid applications, service status checks, and access to a wide range of relevant information. With all these features, the MAIPs Digitalisation Plan not only aims to ensure efficient zakat management but also to strengthen the MAIPs Strategic Plan in creating a more dynamic, efficient, and impactful service ecosystem for the Muslim community in the state of Perlis.

We hope that through this effort, MAIPs will continue to fulfil the aspirations of the ummah and ensure its services always uphold the Command of the Ulil Amri, while delivering benefits to those in need.
