Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh (Peace and blessings be upon you) and greetings of peace
All praise and thanks be to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Blessings and salutations be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his family, his companions, and all Muslims.
Praise be to Allah, by His permission and bountiful grace, I have been granted the opportunity to deliver this royal address in conjunction with the launch of the new official website of the Perlis Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs (MAIPs).
This digital platform reflects MAIPs’ commitment to remain relevant and progressive in keeping with the rapidly evolving era of information and communication technology. The website offers a variety of online services to facilitate user transactions, such as zakat, waqf, and others.
I sincerely hope that this website will serve as a window reflecting the image of MAIPs as an outstanding, trustworthy, and competitive institution. It is not merely a channel for delivering accurate information, but also a user friendly and effective medium of interaction between MAIPs and the community, while promoting the dissemination of religious knowledge and noble values.
I call upon everyone to make full use of this website in order to strengthen the understanding of Islam and cultivate a sense of responsibility in developing the ummah. May this endeavour be blessed by Allah SWT and act as a catalyst for MAIPs’ progress in fulfilling the trust it holds.
I pray that this platform brings abundance of benefits to all levels of society and continues to be preserved under His mercy and protection.
